Mandatory Training for Professional Students

Any Professional Student who is enrolled in 6 or more credit hours in a degree seeking program with a regular physical presence on campus is required to take this training. Professional students include any student who is enrolled at the

  • School of Law

  • School of Architecture and Planning - Graduate

  • Anderson Graduate School of Management

  • Health Sciences Center/Health Professions*

*Any undergraduate Nursing student at the Health Sciences Center will need to register for an Undergraduate Training Session. Find the Undergraduate Training Schedule  HERE.

The LoboRESPECT Advocacy Center is partnering with the School of Law, School of Architecture and Planning, Health Sciences Center, and Anderson School of Management to provide trainings that meet the schedule needs of professional students. Some professional students will receive information regarding your area's training session from your department. Please look for communication regarding the Grey Area Training in your UNM Email Account.

Summer 2017 Professional General Sessions

NOTICE: If you are not available this summer, another round of training sessions will be held in the Fall.

These general sessions are open to ANY professional student in need of completing this training. 

Note: These dates are tentative and subject to change. Please use as references as you schedule your session. 

Pick the session that works best for you. The Grey Area training is approximately 90 minutes, which includes a large-group presentation and small-group interactive session. 

Students are required to attend all parts of the session. Commitments to school, work, family, etc. should be taken into consideration when selecting a session.

Under Title IX, sexual violence is a severe form of sexual harassment. Sexual violence is unacceptable and will not be tolerated at the University of New Mexico. Sexual violence may be committed by a stranger, an acquaintance or someone with whom the victim is involved in an intimate or sexual relationship. Victims of sexual violence are encouraged to report what happened to law enforcement and seek assistance from any of the resources, on and off campus, listed in this publication.
