Mandatory Training for Professional Students

Any Professional Student* who is enrolled in 6 or more credit hours in a degree-granting program with a regular physical presence on campus is required to take this training.

Note:  Students only need to take the in-person Grey Area training once during their time at UNM. If you have already completed the Grey Area training as a graduate-level student, you do not need to register for a training below. Instead, each year you will take the online training, Think About It. Please keep an eye on your UNM email for an invitation to your annual Think About It training. Please contact the LoboRESPECT Advocacy Center with questions about your training requirement status.

Spring 2019 Professional General Sessions

*Important: Professional students are graduate-level students in the following schools:

  • Anderson School of Management
  • Health Sciences Center
  • School of Architecture and Planning
  • School of Engineering
  • School of Law

Students are required to attend the entirety of the training to receive credit. Commitments to school, work, family, etc. should be taken into consideration when selecting a session.

If you have concerns about taking The Grey Area sexual misconduct prevention training, please contact the LoboRESPECT Advocacy Center at 505.277.2911 or loborespect@unm.edu

Under Title IX, sexual violence is a severe form of sexual harassment. Sexual violence is unacceptable and will not be tolerated at the University of New Mexico. Sexual violence may be committed by a stranger, an acquaintance or someone with whom the victim is involved in an intimate or sexual relationship. Victims of sexual violence are encouraged to report what happened to law enforcement and seek assistance from any of the resources, on and off campus, listed in this publication.

Please contact UNM's Title IX Coordinator, Angela Catena, at acatena@unm.edu for more information about Title IX.
