How It Works

Free to all currently enrolled UNM students. Students will have an opportunity to fill a basket with grocery offerings of their choice and must weigh the basket for final checkout. Students are required to sign a waiver for the semester and provide general identifying information (name, email, UNM ID number) when visiting the pantry in order to help us track the number of visits they use each month. The daily limit is either a full basket or 10.0 lbs., whichever the students meets first.

Donations

We are always happy to accept donations and volunteers to help keep the Campus Lobo Food Pantry going. Please help us to continue serving our students by donating today. The Campus Lobo Food Pantry is run primarily on individual donations of food and toiletries. To donate items or to volunteer, please contact Amanda Martinez at amartinez95@unm.edu or LoboRESPECT at 505-277-2911 or loborespect@unm.edu. We are closed Friday's as a primary donation acceptance and restock day.

A list of what we will accept can be found here. All donations must be unopened, unexpired, and in good condition. Donations that have very damaged/compromised packaging or are too far past their code date to be suitable for consumption will be thrown away. We do accept used grocery bags to provide to students to carry groceries with.
