How to Best Utilize the LoboRESPECT Advocacy Center

We encourage students to call and speak with a professional staff. This is beneficial for a number of reasons:

  • We are often able to answer questions and/or provide direction over the phone
  • Your particular issue may require some research or legwork on our part, and you can be best served by allowing us time to get answers before meeting
  • All staff may be unavailable at the time you walk in

Since we are a relatively small office serving a large population of students, we strive to be as efficient and responsive as possible.  Calling ahead will help us better serve you.

Under Title IX, sexual violence is a severe form of sexual harassment. Sexual violence is unacceptable and will not be tolerated at the University of New Mexico. Sexual violence may be committed by a stranger, an acquaintance or someone with whom the victim is involved in an intimate or sexual relationship.
