Interim Measures

The University of New Mexico supports students affected by sexual harassment, gender-based discrimination, sexual misconduct, or sexual violence. Through the LoboREESPECT Advocacy Center, UNM can implement Academic and Support Measures, and through the Dean of Students UNM can implement Safety Measures designed to preserve the complainant’s educational experience, the safety of all parties and the broader University community, maintain the integrity of the investigative and/or resolution process, and deter retaliation. Depending on the situation, these measures may be placed on an interim or permanent basis, and are available to all students. However, when implementing these measures, the University will seek to minimize the burden on the victim and/or complainant, in compliance with Title IX guidelines.
